MURCHISON
FALLS NATIONAL PARK - UOSL006

DAY 1:
From your hotel in Kampala after breakfast, departure
is at 8 o'oclock head North through the districts
of Luwero and Masindi with their traditional farms
and villages. After a re-fuelling stop in Masindi
town, proceed to Sambiya River Lodge in Murchison
Falls N.P.
After lunch, tour the top of the Falls, where
the Nile crashes through a 7 - metre gorge to
fall 45 metres. Numerous scenic viewpoints are
the photographer's delight! You return for your
dinner an over night at your respective hotel:
Paraa Safari Lodge, Nile Safari Camp, Sambiya
River Lodge.
DAY
2:Depending on your accommodation, you
set up for for early morning game drive. Your
guide helps spot elepha-nt, giraffe, Cape buffalo,
Uganda kob and lion; rarer animals to spot are
leopard and spotted hyena. Butterflies are abundant.

After
your lunch you take a boat cruise to the base of the
majestic Murchison Falls. Crocodiles bask in the sun
and hippos yawn on the way. Spectacular bird life is
found here including the rare shoebill stork, and you
are likely to see numerous animals. Return for dinner
an over night at: Paraa Safari Lodge, Nile Safari Camp,
Sambiya River Lodge.
DAY
3: After your breakfast you set for your forest
walk in search of chimpanzees at Kaniyo-Pabidi Ecotourism
Site. Other primates include Calabus Monkeys, Red Tail
Monkeys and other primates are also found. Birds, butterflies
are plentiful.
Return to Kampala stopping at Masindi for lunch.
Extra
nights at Murchison Falls with excursions like fishing
and birdwatching are available upon request.
Spot
Fishing can also be arranged on request
You
can visit the Ziwa Ranch on request for Rhino viewing.
